How do I join or start a TeleVisit?

There are multiple ways to join a televisit using your smartphone or computer.

  • Click on the text or email link in the message or email received from your doctor’s office. No login is required.
  • Download the Healow app, once logged in, select “Find appointments”, then select the appointment and click on the Televisit camera icon.
  • Register in Patient Portal and login into your account.

On the day of your appointment:

  1. Set aside a secure and private location for your appointment.
  2. “Arrive early” by logging into the healow app, Patient Portal, or clicking the link within the email reminder or text message your doctor’s office sent you.
  3. Fill out any patient questionnaires and vitals if applicable (answers are not mandatory on either form, but fill in what you can).
  4. Fill out any patient questionnaires if prompted.
  5. Click “Proceed” to check your computer’s speed and ability to support a TeleVisit.
  6. Click “Start TeleVisit” to enter the virtual waiting room.
  7. You and the physician will begin the face-to-face TeleVisit encounter.
  8. Once the Televisit concludes, any prescriptions or lab orders will be electronically transmitted to your pharmacy of preference, and to Labcorp.

Paying for your Televisit appointment

Make sure you have a valid payment card ready before logging in to your online appointment. Once prompted, you can easily pay through the secured and encrypted Healow platform.

We accept most major credit and debit cards. You will be prompted to pay your bill just before the beginning of the online encounter with the provider. Paying at the time of the appointment will guarantee that your payment is processed only for fulfilled services.

Telemedicine is intended for non-emergency medical conditions and can be a good alternative to an Urgent Care Clinic, or Emergency Room visit. You should not use Telemedicine if you are experiencing a medical emergency.
