The following are symptoms of chronic stress.

  • Difficulty making decisions.
  • Inability to control anger.
  • Increased use of alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, or drugs.
  • Increased or decreased eating.
  • Feeling overwhelmed.
  • Thinking often about what you need to do.
